The VIA EPIA P820 (P820-12L) Pico-ITX Embedded Mainboard is an ultra compact native x86 platform for a wide range of embedded system applications. The EPIA P820 mainboard is based on the VIA VX855 All-in-One System Processor featuring the VIA Chrome9 HCM DX9 IGP with video accelerators for rich digital media performance.

The EPIA P820 onboard 1.2GHz VIA Nano processor is a green, secure, and efficient processor with its included VIA PadLock Security Engine, VIA CoolStream Architecture, VIA StepAhead Technology Suite, and VIA TwinTurbo Technology - boasting of ultra-low power consumption and cool operation. The EPIA P820 Pico-ITX Embedded Mainboard delivers the performance levels with its included sizeable support of up to 2GB of 800MHz DDR2 memory and native support for SATA-II 3Gb/s storage devices.

The VIA VX855 MSP on the EPIA P820 Pico-ITX Embedded mainboard integrates a premium graphics engine, an HD audio controller, a DDR2 memory controller, an 800MHz FSB processor interface, and extensive I/O capabilities support in a single chip design. Complementing the power-efficient 1.2GHz VIA Nano processor, the VX855 is based on a highly sophisticated power efficient architecture that enables such rich integration into a compact package with a maximum power envelope of just 2.3W.
